12th to 18th
January
This is
exam week at school and last week of school for students. The school officially closes on 24th
January for the winter break, returning on the 24th February for the
next semester.
I just need
to get my marking finished and grades uploaded into the school system then I
will be finished and yearning to welcome the holidays.
I have a
meeting on Tuesday with Paul to discuss a course that we are co-teaching in and
I will also upload my grades with the help of Analeigh.
It has been
somewhat challenging, frustrating and depriving of my free time this past
semester due to the injury 4 months ago however with that said, I feel ready
for a new beginning and these next few weeks of relaxation time will definitely
boost my energy.
My sister
and brother-in-law will arrive on the 9th February for two weeks of
holiday time here in Taiwan. The
itinerary I have created will keep us busy for 80% of that time.
There
hasn’t really been anything significant to speak of this week so instead of a
lot of written words to describe my week, I have created a week in photos.
The photos
will be the story telling of this week’s entry so please sit back and enjoy the
view.
UPDATE: Monday 19th, I just
received word that Team Taiwan place 3rd overall in the Pastry World
Cup being held in Italy and one of our senior (4th year) students
received best overall sugar showpiece for the juniors. Way to go Johnny Yan!!
